What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a hands-on approach used by Certified Animal Chiropractors to enable the animal’s body to function at its optimal level by eliminating the restriction on the nerves, reducing muscle spasms, improving circulation, and restoring joint function. Chiropractic uses adjustments that are a non-invasive, drug-free modality.

Will it hurt my animal?

Dr. Ginny’s approach is very gentle. She understands that most of the animals she is treating are in a fair amount of pain, so tremendous care is taken with each adjustment.

Animal Chiropractors work in conjunction with your veterinarian to ensure appropriate, safe treatment for your animal.
In the State of Texas, a referral form must be signed by your veterinarian who has an established doctor/client/patient relationship with you and your animal.

How do I know if my animal would benefit from a Chiropractic adjustment?

Animals communicate their pain and discomfort in ways not dissimilar to humans. Often, observation of changes in behavior, gait, appetite, or energy level can signal that your animal might be in some level of discomfort and benefit from Chiropractic care. Dr. Heller welcomes your call to discuss your animal’s symptoms and to determine whether your animal has a problem or condition she can help.

Will my animal need this forever?

While Dr. Ginny highly recommends maintenance care to keep your animal's spine healthy, continuous care is left to the owner's discretion.
